Girl, 10, and Man, 52, Injured in Shooting

Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a 10-year-old girl and 52-year-old man injured Friday night.

Just before midnight Dallas police officers were called to the 3000 block of Fordham Road where the pair told police an unknown man fired a gun at their vehicle as they drove along the 3500 block of Wilhurt Avenue.

The girl and man were taken to local hospitals with injuries that were not life threatening.

Though the Dallas police helicopter searched from the air and officers searched door to door on the ground, the shooter was not found.

Dallas police did not have much information on what led up to the shooting or the gunman in the case.

The conditions of the girl and man are unknown as of this writing.
