Fort Worth police are searching for the man who stole a woman's purse Wednesday evening.
According to police, a woman was walking out of a convenience store in the 6800 block of Bowman Roberts Road at about 6:15 p.m. when a man approached her from behind.
Just as she was getting into her car, the man grabbed her purse and threw her to the ground, police said. The man ran away to a car parked down the street, which may have been occupied by at least three other people.
The woman suffered minor injuries.
Police described her attacker as 25- to 30-years-old, 5 foot 11 inches tall, and weighing at least 175 pounds. He got away in a white, late-model four-door sedan.
Anyone with information on the incident or suspects is asked to call 911, or Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS (8477).
A reward of up to $1,000 will be offered to anyone who can offer a tip that leads to an arrest.
