Dallas police officers crashed their cruiser overnight while chasing a robbery suspect.

The officers stopped a suspicious man outside a 7-Eleven on Skillman Street in Dallas.

Officers said they ran the man's information and discovered that he had a warrant for aggravated robbery.

At that moment, the suspect took off running.

Two officers jumped in their cruiser to chase after him.

Police said the driver of a Volkswagen Beetle was in the 7-Eleven parking lot to get gas and collided with the cruiser.

The driver of the Volkswagen Beetle had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Both officers were OK.

The robbery suspect is still on the run.

Police have been circling the neighborhood off Skillman Street Wednesday morning in search of the suspect.
