Dallas ISD Adds Ebola Information Contacts

Dallas Independent School District officials said they want parents to know that it's safe to send their children to school today.

School officials called and emailed parents to tell them how they're being proactive about preventing the spread of Ebola, including adding nursing staff and using industrial strength cleaning products.

We think there is not any reason to be alarmed," district superintendent Mike Miles said. "But just like everybody else, we want to be extra cautious so we are taking extra steps."

District officials suggested that parents with concerns contact them at 972-925-5810 or visit www.dallasisd.org/healthupdates.
