An American Airlines flight from London bound for Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport made an emergency landing Friday evening in Oklahoma after reporting engine trouble.
Flight 79, a Boeing 777 with 230 passengers and a crew of 14 on board, landed at Tulsa International Airport at about 6:30 p.m.
It was due to arrive at DFW just after 7 p.m.
The aircraft will be taken out of service for maintenance, and a replacement airplane was sent to pick up the passengers and crew, according to a statement from the airline.
