Dallas police are investigating the death of a toddler who died Saturday night after drowning in a swimming pool.
Police were called to 7115 Larkin Road just before 11 p.m. Saturday regarding a missing person.
The call turned into a person in danger after family members found a 2-year-old girl at the bottom of the pool, according to police.
Police said family members recalled the little girl, identified as Ann Collazo, swimming with other children earlier in the evening. When drying off the kids, a family member noticed Collazo was missing.
They searched the pool and immediately pulled her out when they found her.
When officers arrived, they performed CPR until Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived.
Police said the toddler was transported to Children's Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
