Witnesses helped pull a person out of a vehicle that caught fire on U.S. 80 in Mesquite Friday morning. [[322501562,C]]
Authorities have not yet said what caused the vehicle to catch fire on U.S. 80 near Big Town Boulevard at about 8 a.m.
Mesquite Fire Department spokesman Capt. Kelly Turner said bystanders pulled the driver from the vehicle.
Turner said the driver was transported to a hospital, but no further details were released.
