Divers continued searching Lake Lewisville Tuesday for a 28-year-old man went swimming and never surfaced Sunday.
The man and his girlfriend were boating on the lake when he jumped into the water, according to authorities. The boat was then pushed away by wind.
The man's girlfriend tried to throw him a life jacket and jumped in to try to help, but was unable.
Denton County Sheriff's deputies, Lewisville firefighters and Texas Game Wardens looked for the man, but suspended the search Sunday night.
Officials searched again through Monday until 3 a.m. Tuesday before again suspending the search until daybreak.
No further details have been released.
