There's no denying that win or lose Sunday's game, Panthers' quarterback Cam Newton has had a pretty good year.
And now, one Hollywood icon is coming forward to take some credit for his success.
At the start of Super Bowl 50, Chicago's own Betty White had a message for Newton, saying she "taught @CameronNewton everything he knows."

White is seen "dabbing," a dance move which Newton has turned into his signature celebration on the field. He even got Panthers owner Jerry Richardson to dab:

Newton was named NFL MVP at the NFL Honors awards show on Saturday night, and is making his first Super Bowl appearance in Sunday's game.
No matter what happens Sunday night, he should probably thank Betty White.
