Ranger Pitcher Out For Season With Rotator Cutt Injury

AP

Rangers right hand pitcher Eric Hurley will miss the season with a rotator cuff injury.

Darn that hurts.  Hurley had some nice starts last year in the bigs.  I was thinking he could land a spot in the rotation in spring training.

He was a nice kid to talk to in the locker room.  I feel for him.

One guy who is 100% healthy is Thomas Diamond, a former Rangers first round pick, is ready to earn a spot on the pitching staff this spring.  I spoke to him in the locker room and he was excited about his chances to make the Rangers.
