In somewhat of a shocker, Terrell Owens took the news of his Hall of Fame exclusion on his first try of getting in pretty well, and instead of bellyaching, he actually took the gracious approach.

The former Dallas Cowboys nemesis, turned Cowboy, tweeted out his congratulations to the 2016 class, including fellow wide receiver great Marvin Harrison.

It was a near certainty Owens wasn't getting in this time around, not with Harrison still waiting in the wings and with his reputation as a locker room cancer throughout his career.

But make no mistake, Owens will be in sooner rather than later after putting up ridiculous numbers in what was definitely a Hall of Fame career.

Also, as crazy and wacky as he was, he never got in trouble off the field other than being divisive in locker rooms and not being the best teammate in the world.
