Tuesday was supposed to be the day that we got a look at the NFL’s 2013 regular season schedule but that’s not going to happen after all, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told ProFootballTalk.com’s Mike Florio on Monday morning.
“It will not be tomorrow but could be in the next week or two,” Aiello said. “We’re working to finalize it.”
So we may not have the schedule for awhile, but the Cowboys’ list of opponents in 2013 was finalized way back on New Year’s Eve of last year, after the season-ending loss to the Redskins.
Aside from the standard six games against division foes, the Giants, Eagles and Redskins, Dallas will take on the Packers, Vikings, Rams, Broncos and Raiders at home; they’ll hit the road to face the Lions, Bears, Saints, Chiefs and Chargers.
As Florio points out, schedules are traditionally released prior to the draft, which is slated to begin on Thursday April 25th, and wrap up on Saturday the 27th.
