Pedestrian Hit and Killed on I-635 in Coppell

    Coppell police say eastbound lanes of I-635 are still closed at Freeport Parkway after a pedestrian was hit and killed Saturday morning.

    Just after 6 a.m., Coppell police officer received reports that a man was hit while trying to cross I-635.

    Accident investigators from Coppell, Carrollton, Addison and Farmers Branch are working to investigate the fatal accident.

    Investigators are interviewing witnesses, including the driver and trying to identify the man who was killed.

    Police say at this stage in the investigation, alcohol does not seem to be a factor in the accident. No other details were available.
