Young Frankenstein, First Tuesday at DMA and chivalry in Camelot

A MEL BROOKS MUSICAL…IT’S ALIVE: Comic genius Mel Brooks brought the hilarity (and a few musical numbers) of the 1974 “Young Frankenstein” movie to the Broadway stage in 2007. Now, it’s alive and traveling the nation in the Lexus Broadway Series tour. Tonight, the green monster and his maker bring Transylvania Heights to Dallas as they visit the Winspear Opera House for opening night of “Young Frankenstein.” Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 to $150. The musical runs through Jan. 23.

FIRST TUESDAY: It’s Touchdown Tuesday at the Dallas Museum of Art and the first Tuesday of the New Year. Inspired by the “Big New Field” exhibition, this first Tuesday guides guests through a day of Super Bowl themed learning.
