Who's On, Who's Not: June 8

In a weekly staple, we'll discuss who's in a groove and who's in a rut for the Texas Rangers.

Who's On?

Jurickson Profar — Well, duh. The dude has 19 hits in his first 11 MLB games this year. Over the past six, he's hitting .407 with two doubles, a triple and a homer and he's been a monster in the leadoff spot.

Nomar Mazara — The 21-year-old outfielder is batting .435 with a .500 on-base percentage with a 1.109 OPS in his last six games. He's also doubled and homered in that span.

Bullpen — After a rough start to the year, the bullpen has been nails in recent weeks, especially since Jeff Banister made the switch to Sam Dyson at closer. The late-game trio of Matt Bush, Jake Diekman and Dyson has allowed just one run in their last eight innings with 11 strikeouts and three walks.

Who's Not?

Mitch Moreland — He's started to lose some playing time as he's hitting just .071 over his last six games (14 at-bats). He's now hitting just .206 on the season.
