Terrell McClain Vows to Bounce Back From Toe Injury

McClain's 2015 season came to an end after just two games

Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Terrell McClain is going to do everything he can to bounce back in his third season with the Cowboys, the last on his current contract.

McClain had 19 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and three tackles for a loss in 13 games in 2014, his first season with the Cowboys.

In 2015, he made it through just two games before suffering a toe injury that would require season-ending surgery. He finished with a pair of tackles.

The good news is McClain expects to be ready to go when the team opens up the offseason conditioning program. He started running again in Week 17.

“I’ve been out of the game since Week 2, and it was just hard for me just week to week come up here and not be out there with my boys,” McClain said, per Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas. “I’m going to work my hardest to get back on that field and make sure I’m not coming off it no more.”
