Contractor Birdair, Inc. said Friday it had completed work on the Dallas Cowboys stadium roofing system.
The Arlington stadium is home to the largest, longest and steepest retractable roof ever constructed as well as the largest operable glass door in the world. Fans can watch the action on the field and check replays and other messages on two 180 foot HD video screens.
Birdair served as roofing subcontractor for the project, supplying and installing the structure's fiberglass membrane retractable roofing panels, as well as providing clamping for the retractable roofing system.
The stadium's first event, a concert by George Strait, is set for June 6.
