Last weekend, former Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens missed the cut for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year on the ballot, which has set off discussions both televised and not about Owens’ impact on the game and his deservingness of the honor.

To Owens’s former quarterback Tony Romo—of whom Owens didn’t always have the nicest things to say, but whom he once publicly cried for—there is no debate to be had.

Just judging by the numbers, it’s a no-brainer,” Romo said. “He played at a high level for a long time.”
