As we discussed on Tuesday, Toronto's Jose Bautista clearly doesn't know when to take his blows, cut his losses and move on.
Bautista, who got his jaw rattled by Rougned Odor in the punch heard 'round the world back on May 15, spoke with Sports Illustrated told the publication Odor was "looking for a fight" and he didn't know "what else" to do other than take out the legs of the second baseman after he was hit by a pitch from the pitcher.
If you think that's solid logic, you can go ahead and kindly quit reading this now.
Connecting you to your favorite North Texas sports teams as well as sports news around the globe.
Now, for you sane folks, let's move on.
After word got out on Tuesday about Bautista's latest comments regarding the brawl, the Rangers began talking — or not talking — about the latest twist to the story.
"He can say whatever he wants," said Adrian Beltre, who saved Bautista from further facial damage, to The Dallas Morning News. "I don't think there would have been a fight if he hadn't slid the way he did. But it's in the past. I don't have anything else on that. It happened, and we move on."
Looks like Bautista will never learn. And if he's still with Toronto next year, you can bet things will be interesting once again when the teams meet up in 2017.
