Prosper Rumble Rolls Into Second Year

Prosper High school showed itโ€™s spirit Friday with what it calls the Prosper Rumble 2.0.

The Rumble is a choreographed pep rally that involves all 1,800 students, faculty and staff at the high school.

Started by principal Greg Wright last year, The Rumble is a way to get kids to feel like they are part of something big, to take pride in their school and to support their classmates.

โ€œWe are the only High School in America doing something like this,โ€œ Wright proudly said.

The Rumble was enormously well received by the students and the community last year and a video produced by students notched more than 40,000 plays on YouTube.

This yearโ€™s version went off without a hitch. The kids actually went through the routine several times so the video photographers could get several takes for editing purposes.

The students will once again produce a full length video and post it online this year.

We got some great shots of this yearโ€™s rumble today and have included a link to last yearโ€™s version as well.
