Target: Doug Martin, RB
2015 stats: 288 carries, 1,402 yards, 6 TDs; 33 catches, 271 yards, 1 TD
Martin finished second in the NFL in rushing in 2015 after a disappointing 2014 season. So, it appears he wasn't a one-hit wonder as a rookie, the dude can actually play and be a productive, workhorse type running back in the NFL.
The big question with Martin is whether he'd be willing to split time with veteran Darren McFadden, who really could get injured at any time, in Dallas for a year before McFadden is gone and Martin is the guy running behind the NFL's best offensive line. It seems it'd be in his best interest, but we all know how egos work.
Martin is going to get a big payday and the Cowboys will have to pony up to get him, but at this point and with this team's limited window, you'd have to believe Jerry Jones will do whatever it takes.
