On Deck will be here all season to provide you with everything you need to know (and a few things you don't) about every postseason series during the 2015 season.
The Teams: The Mets are without their shortstop after a dirty, late slide from Chase Utley, and at least for now, the Dodgers are without Utley who was suspended for two games on Sunday — though he will appeal. The Mets took Game 1 behind Jacob deGrom, and the Dodgers rebounded to claim Game 2 after the questionable slide, which will have Citi Field rockin' on Monday.
Past 2015 Meetings: The Mets won the regular season series 4-3 and they've split the first two games of the ALDS.

Pitching Matchups: Monday — Brett Anderson (10-9, 3.69 ERA) vs. Matt Harvey (13-8, 2.71); Tuesday — TBD vs. Steven Matz (4-0, 2.27).
What's Hot: Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner has been on fire in the first two games, going 4-for-8 with three doubles and veteran second baseman Howie Kendrick is 3-for-8 with a double and an RBI. The Dodgers' bullpen hasn't allowed a run in the first two games of the series, as the Mets got all their offense off Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke.
Curtis Granderson has been the Mets' best hitter through the first two games, as he's 4-for-6 with two walks, but other than that, the Mets' offense has done what you'd expect against Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke.
What's Not: Dodgers rookie phenom, shortstop Corey Seager isn't having the best postseason debut, as he has just one hit in the first two games of the series.
The Mets' late relief, other than their closer, has been awful as both Addison Reed and Tyler Clippard have struggled. Lucas Duda, Yoenis Cespedes and David Wright are all hitting in the .100s in the first two games.
