Andrus Continues Onslaught of Cleveland

People have wondered aloud for a while now what the Texas Rangers have to do to get someone to take Elvis Andrus via trade with his huge albatross of a contract hanging over his head.

Here's an idea: See if the Indians will take him, if for no other reason that he can't kill them anymore.

In Monday's series opener in Cleveland, Andrus found himself in the park he loves more than any other and he continued his offensive onslaught there, doubling and homering in the game to improve his career batting average in Cleveland to an even .400 with an on-base of .478 and a slugger's OPS of 1.038. He now has three homers and 15 RBIs in 26 games in Cleveland.

For this season, anyway, the Rangers have two games left against the Tribe and they're in Andrus' favorite park, so you can expect more of the same beast-at-the-plate Andrus at least for the next two days.
