The Dallas Cowboys have finished their four-day onslaught of negotiations. Almost.
Fourth rounder Stephen McGee and third rounder (Dallas' first pick) Jason Williams came to terms with the team last night, leaving offensive lineman Robert Brewster, who will probably miss 2009 after tearing a pectoral muscle during an offseason workout, as the only pick yet to sign.
Williams, a Western Illinois product, will have a shot to be a special teams monster in 2009, as well (possibly) as giving Bobby Carpenter some competition for time in nickel and dime situations.
Above all, the kid is fast; his forty time was the fastest among the top-25 linebackers in the 2009 draft class.

McGee, on the other hand, will become better acquainted with the clipboard in 2009 (if this is possible, after sitting out much of his senior year at Texas A&M), sitting behind Tony Romo and Jon Kitna on the depth chart. Unless something catastrophic happens, he won't see much of the field during the regular season.
Dallas will likely offer a deal to Brewster in the coming days, and subsequently send him to the physically unable to perform list.
