The Texas A&M-Commerce Lions are moving on in the Division II playoffs after mounting a ferocious second half comeback to beat top seeded Central Washington Saturday.
Down 28-7 at the half, the Lions won 34-31 in double overtime.
Quarterback Luis Perez had another big game. The Harlon Hill candidate threw for 394 yards and three touchdowns.
Up next for the Lions will be a trip to the Super Region Four final against Minnesota State University-Mankato on Saturday December 2nd.
Texas A&M-Commerce is now 11-1 on the season.
