TCU to Play in Rose Bowl

With both Oregon and Auburn winning their championship games Saturday night, the No. 3-ranked TCU Horned Frogs were expected to be invited to the Rose Bowl to face No. 5-ranked Wisconsin on Jan. 1.  And, that's exactly what happened Sunday night when the BCS announced bowl pairings.

To celebrate their second-straight BCS bowl bid, the Frogs hosted a BCS selection watching party for fans at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum Sunday night.

The entertainment started at about 6:45 p.m. with interviews with head coach Gary Patterson and selected players.  Door prizes were awarded, including an autographed helmet, the Star-Telegram reports.

"The Granddaddy of them all" between the Frogs and Badgers will kickoff on New Years Day in Pasadena, Calif.,  at 4:10 p.m. CT.
