Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott spent a portion of his six-game suspension getting leaner and adding muscle while shooting a self-produced documentary in Mexico, according to his agent.

During Sunday Night Football, NBC Sports showed shirtless photos of Ezekiel Elliott working out in Cabo San Lucas. The photos, sent by his agent Rocky Arceneaux, did appear to show a leaner, more ripped version of last year's rushing champion.

Elliott was serving a six-game suspension handed down by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell after Elliott was accused of, but never charged with, domestic violence.

Arceneaux was quoted during NBC's Sunday Night Football as saying Elliott added muscle and trimmed some fat by running in the sand, working out on an improvised football field and by lifting weights.

If you want to know more about his regime, or if you want to see him doing it, you may have to wait a bit. Arceneaux told NBC 5's Jean-Jacques Taylor Monday the documentary was shot by Zeke's own production company and that there is no release date scheduled.

During his 38-day suspension, Arceneaux was also quoted as saying Elliott was visited by several mentors, including including Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson who says he made a bet with the running back after he said he'd get 200 yards when the Cowboys face the Seahawks on Christmas Eve.

Elliott has been suspended since Nov. 9; in his last game, vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, he ran for 93 yards and one touchdown.
