Big Screens Headed to Mavs Parade

MFFLs attending Thursday's parade are nearly guaranteed being able to see the action in Victory Park with the addition of two massive HD screens from Argyle-based GoVision.

You've probably seen the screens before if you attended the fan appreciation rally at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington following the World Series or at some of the events next door at Cowboys Stadium.

Either way, even if you don't make it into Victory Park, where the Dallas Police Department plans to cut off the crowd when it reaches 10,000, you can still see the action.  GoVision will have screens at Victory Avenue and Olive Street and at N. Houston and Olive.

β€œIt’s always fun being a part of the biggest sporting events in the world,” said Chris Curtis, CEO of GoVision.  β€œBut we could definitely get used to more of them taking place here.  Talk about the best of both worlds.”

Recently, GoVision has also provided screens for parades in Chicago and Pittsburgh after Stanley Cup wins by the BlackHawks and Penguins.

Remember, the parade kicks off at 10 a.m. at City Hall.  Roads close at 8 and fans can begin lining up at 7 a.m. Overnight camping is not allowed.
