The Dallas Mavericks will put on their best clothes next month for a good cause.
The third annual Mavs Ball: A Blue Tie Affair will be held on March 3 at Canton Hall and The Factory Ballroom in Dallas. The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. in support for the Mavs Foundation.
The entire Mavs team, along with head coach Rick Carlisle and owner Mark Cuban, are expected to be in attendance. The festivities will include cocktails, a seated dinner, a live and silent auction and entertainment from comic Cedric the Entertainer.
The Mavs Ball is the premier fundraiser for the Mavs Foundation, an organization dedicated to serving women, children and families in need across North Texas. This year's event will celebrate the 2017-2018 Mavs Foundation Grant Recipients: Austin Street Center, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth, Bryan's House, Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas, BridgeBuilders, Minnie's Food Pantry, Phoenix House of Texas, St. Simons After-School, Unlikely Heroes and Vogel Alcove.
