Former Dallas Mayor Ron Kirk said his friends on the left may be more disappointed in a Barack Obama presidency than those in the center.
Kirk, who has worked on the Obama campaign since its beginning, said he expects Obama to consult liberals and conservatives on all major issues.
He said Obama is the type of leader to listen carefully to all sides of an issue before making a decision.
