Search Continues for 8 Who Escaped From Nashville Jail

Authorities were still searching for eight of the teens who escaped a Nashville youth detention center Tuesday afternoon, while the other 22 were taken to juvenile court and could face escape charges, officials said. The teens β€” ages 14 to 19 β€” escaped from Woodland Hills Youth Development Center around 11 p.m. Monday by crawling under a weak spot in a fence that surrounded a yard there, a Tennessee Department of Children's Services spokesman said. Originally 32 were thought to escape but officials revised the number to 30.
