MTV's special "Restore the Shore," hosted by Sway and Amy Paffrath, had multiple stars from the network (including the casts of "Jersey Shore," "Teen Wolf," "Teen Mom" and "Awkward") working the duck phones and talking to those who have made donations to help rebuild what Hurricane Sandy destroyed.
Grab your Kleenex, folks, because this benefit started with a tear-jerking look at the tragic outcome on the East Coast.
"Jersey Shore" star Snooki was followed by cameras when she took a helicopter ride over Seaside Heights to see, in person, what Sandy caused. It was hard for her to hold back the tears, thinking back on all the memories that were lost.

Pauly D and the rest of the cast (minus Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino) were also followed by cameras when they went to the boardwalk and their shore house after Sandy and a blizzard (because a hurricane just wasn't enough) had passed.
"I'm lookin' at it and I still can't believe it's real," Pauly said about the boardwalk. "Now here is something that we've partied on, walked on, danced on, did everything on, it's just a happy place, and to see it gone--it's like dead silence."
As if that didn't tug at your heart already, Vinny went around Seaside and interviewed the families that lost their homes. "Honestly, Sway, seeing and talking to those people, I didn't know how to react to somebody who just lost everything. Grown people, grown men crying right next to me, and what can you say to somebody who just lost their entire life?"
The famous Shore Store was completely damaged, the roof was detached, the merchandise was all wet and ruined, and the boss, Danny, was just in shock.
"I don't mean to be a crybaby or anything like that, but this is what I got. Every morning, here every night. It's crazy," he said. "I'm a very proud person. I never ask for help from anybody, but I'm asking for help from everybody in America. There's hundreds of thousands of people just in Seaside Heights, but there are other towns in this area who have just lost everything."
There were also musical performances by Gym Class Heroes and "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips, who of course performed "Home."
