President Barack Obama says Iraqi and Kurdish forces have recaptured a strategically important dam in Mosul Monday after days of airstrikes by the U.S. military. American forces helped destroy key fighting positions held by ISIS as the military took back the Iraq's key source for water and electricity. The president broke from his Martha's Vineyard vacation to return to the White House Sunday for meetings on Iraq and the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri.
