Woman Sought for Using Stolen Credit Card in Dallas: Police

A woman was caught on video trying to make a purchase using a credit card shortly after it was reported stolen during a violent robbery, Dallas police say.

According to police, the card belonged to a woman who had been robbed in the parking lot of Henderson Liquor, located on the 2800 block of Henderson Avenue, at about 1:05 a.m. Tuesday.

The victim told police someone in a gold-colored Chevrolet Monte Carlo pulled up alongside her and grabbed her purse before speeding off.

The woman was entangled in the purse strap and was dragged by the car, police said.

Shortly after the robbery, a woman was captured on surveillance cameras trying to buy something using one of the victim's stolen cards, investigators said. The purchase was denied and the woman got away in a car matching the description of the one used in the robbery, according to the statement.

Anyone who recognizes the woman, or the car, is asked to call detectives at 214-671-4926. Anonymous tips can be sent to 214-373-TIPS (8477).
