Voters in Dallas and Fort worth are preparing to elect new mayors this weekend.
Runoff races are expected after Saturday's elections because the tight races in both Dallas and Fort Worth mean it's unlikely that a single candidate will garner more than 50 percent of the vote.
The non-partisan elections are among several being held across Texas for mayor, some city commission and school board seats.
Turnout in early voting, which ended on Tuesday, has been low.
In Dallas, which has more than a half million registered voters, about 26,000 voted early.
In Fort Worth, where there are more than 325,000 registered voters, just shy of 15,000 people had voted early.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. You can find complete election results on NBCDFW.com Saturday as the results come in.
