The Fort Worth Fire Department posted video on Facebook of a firefighter saving a stranded dog in a body of water.
The rescue happened Tuesday near Gateway Park in Fort Worth.
Video shows the firefighter wade out to the dog who was stuck on a fallen tree in the water.
The firefighter patiently approached the dog and was able to get the dog safely back to land.
The dog was returned back to its owner according to the fire department.
