Police say a Dallas man has shot his wife multiple times, killing her, before turning the gun on himself following a dispute between the two.
Authorities responded Monday night to the pair's home in the 7300 block of Fillmore Road, after receiving a report of a shooting.
The body of 34-year-old Esmeralda Gonzalez was found at the base of the porch by police tactical officers who then heard a gunshot. She had been shot severel times according to Dallas police.
They found the body of 39-year-old Efrain Gonzalez in the back yard. Police say died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Homicide detectives say they learned the pair had argued earlier in the evening.
