Two Dead After Triple Shooting in Fort Worth

A teenager and another man are dead after a late-night triple shooting in west Fort Worth.

Police said the deadly shooting happened around 10 p.m. Thursday night.

Ajimon Holmes, 17, and David Bilbo, 41, died in the parking lot of the Mira Monte apartment complex in the 2800 block of Las Vegas Trail.

The condition of the third shooting, who drove himself to the hospital, is unknown.

Police said they don’t have a motive in the shooting and detectives are trying to figure out who is behind the violence.

“We have a crime scene that’s contained that we’re not allowing anyone access to,” said Capt. Shawn Stone with the Fort Worth Police Department. “Homicide investigators are actively investigating the scene, speaking to witnesses as well as gathering evidence here at the scene."

At the same time the Mira Monte shooting happened, Fort Worth police also responded to another shooting the Valley View apartments just five miles away. Officers are working to find out if the shootings are connected.
