A Deer Park woman who previously lived in Pasadena has been charged after allegedly having sex with her teenage nephew "hundreds of times."
The Houston Chronicle reported that the 43-year-old woman has been charged with sexual assault of a child. The Associated Press did not name the woman in order to protect the victim's identity.
Court documents state she committed the assault on her nephew when he was still in high school. He is now 22 years old.
The nephew contacted authorities to report the sexual assault in July. He saaid the abuse began shortly after he moved to Pasadena from out of state around 2009.
The woman was arrested Dec. 4 and is free on a $30,000 bail. She's scheduled to appear in court Jan. 20.
