Bankersmith, Texas, a tiny town near Luckenbach and Fredericksburg, will have a new name if ATX Brands Founder and CEO Doug Guller has his way.
Guller wants to change the name of the town to Bikinis, Texas. Yes, like the swimsuit.
According to a press release from the company, Guller purchased the land that the town sits upon through Craigslist and will keep the town unincorporated.
"Bikinis, TX will be a world class destination and I am thrilled to expand the Bikinis brand to include town ownership. There can't be a better way to put Bikinis on the map...Literally," said Guller, in that same release.
Why the obsessiong with bikinis? Guller owns the "sports bar and grill concept" called Bikinis, which has locations in Dallas, Richardson, Arlington, Houston, San Antonio, and other spots.
We think you can guess what the waitresses wear.
Guller said he'll host the first Bikinis, TX, event this Fall.
