Stars ‘Pick to Click' for Game 7

There’s nothing better than a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. It’s a time to shine for those out on the ice and excitement overload for those watching.

The Stars and Blues will have their turn in the spotlight Wednesday night in Dallas with the winner moving on to the Western Conference Finals.

There always seems to be someone who steps it up a notch in Game 7; someone whose name you haven’t heard very often during the series. So who’s my "Pick to Click" for the Stars in the winner-take-all game Wednesday night?

I'll go with left winger Patrick Sharp.

These moments are made for a player like Sharp, who helped the Chicago Blackhawks win three Stanley Cup Championships from 2010-2015. He has 47 goals, 40 assists and 87 points during his career in playoff action for both the Blackhawks and Stars.

Most recently, Sharp scored a goal and set up the pass to Cody Eakin for the Game 4 overtime winner against the Blues.

The "been there, done that" knowledge is important in big games like this. Sharp’s resume speaks for itself when we talk playoffs.

Game 7 is at 7 p.m. on the NBC Sports Network.
