An hourslong standoff between police and a former Grand Prairie firefighter in a Hurst neighborhood has ended, officials say.
Police said the man barricaded himself inside the home after officers attempted to serve a warrant for "harassing communication" in the 1100 block of Hurstview Drive at about 1 p.m.
Officials said the man was alone in the house and Hurst SWAT were in communication with him.
