A skull and other remains found four months ago by a farmer tending a South Texas field have been identified as a missing San Antonio woman.
Sarah Gaitan had been missing since early October. The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office on Friday notified the 24-year-old woman's family of the positive identification.
No cause of death was immediately released.
A farmer in early March was fertilizing a field near Marion when he noticed what appeared to be a human skull. Additional bones were located nearby.
Marion is 25 miles northeast of San Antonio.
