A Gun Barrel City man was arrested after he brought a loaded revolver in his carry-on bag at New York's LaGuardia Airport, authorities said.
Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police said Friday Transportation Security Administration officers noticed the handgun as Douglas A. White went through a security screening Thursday.
Police said the 61-year-old man was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm.
White was in custody Friday and unavailable for comment. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney.
Gun Barrel City is about 58 miles south of Dallas.
