A man is in custody after leading police on a chase from Balch Springs to Southeast Dallas early Thursday morning, police say.[[328001481,L]]
The chase ended in the 3800 block of East Illinois Avenue when the driver of a white sedan surrendered to police without further incident, according to a police spokesman.
It is not yet known what led to police chasing the driver or why he or she refused to pull over for officers.
Police did not release further information on the incident.
