The company will hire online and in-person applicants for holiday, part-time and permanent positions. Interviews will be held in 15 North Texas stores Tuesday.
In addition to merchandise specialists, cashiers and customer service representatives, J.C. Penney general manager Karen Alexander said they're looking for 375 salon stylists.
"We know stylists will bring customers to J.C Penney that may not have shopped in our stores," Alexander said. "We also think this would be a great program for a working mom who has a clientele and flexible hours. She can take care of her customers and come and go at the same time."
