The family of Dallas Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan filed a petition in court Tuesday night asking for monetary relief above the jurisdictional limits and a demand for judgment for other relief they believed they were entitled.
Wednesday the family and their attorney, Les Weisbrod, said they had agreed to a settlement with Texas Health Resources that includes an undisclosed sum and creating a charitable foundation in Duncan's name.
