Authorities said one person was killed when a tractor trailer collided with two vehicles on the Interstate 45 frontage road in Ennis Tuesday morning.
Ennis police said they think the tractor trailer struck two vehicles that had been involved in an earlier collision on the northbound I-45 frontage road near Farm-to-Market Road 1181 at about 4 a.m.
One person has been confirmed dead, according to police.
As of 6 a.m., the northbound frontage road is closed as crews clear the crash.
No further details have been released.
