Denton police are investigating a crash that left one man dead after his disabled car was hit by another vehicle.
Police said at about 2:15 a.m. they received calls about a disabled Nissan Versa in the right lane of traffic on I-35W. A patrol officer going the opposite direction spotted the car, but before he arrived on the scene, the car had been hit.
The officer located a man in his 50's dead in the disabled car. The driver of the truck stopped nearby and is being interviewed by police.
The driver of the disabled car has not been identified.
