After three years and a couple hundred miles a small dog is back in the arms of his family in North Texas.
The Austin Humane Society reunited "Tank" the dachshund with Bryana McFarland on Thursday.
McFarland said Tank disappeared in Fort Worth when her boyfriend was taking care of him.

He got scared and ran-off. McFarland said she searched for Tank everywhere but never found him
"He was like my child. He followed me everywhere, slept with me, went right in the car with me. Everywhere I went, that's where he went. He was my big ol' baby," McFarland said.
Tank arrived at the Austin shelter this week after a volunteer found him.
They say they scanned his microchip and found McFarland's contact information right away.
